At the end of the Edo Period, Tokugawa Shogunate made a treaty with four Western countries to build eight lighthouses throughout the nation. Nojimazaki was one of the eight locations, and the second oldest Western style lighthouse in Japan was completed and lit there in 1870. This lighthouse was destroyed by the Great Kanto Earthquake in 1923, and soon replaced by the one you see today. With a small admission, you can walk up the stairs to the top for a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean and the curve of the horizon.

営業時間

定休日

住所

電話番号

無料Wi-Fi

支払い方法

公式サイト（日本語）

公式サイト（英語）

Hours

9am –
