富津市金谷にある鋸山の西側に位置し、山麓駅から山頂駅を約4分で結ぶ、千葉県内唯一のロープウェーです。山頂駅展望台からは東京湾の景色を一望できる人気のスポットとなっています。山頂駅から連絡道を進むと、日本寺の西口管理所に繋がっており、日本寺境内（有料）へ行くことが出来ます。登山道の「関東ふれあいの道」や「車力道」へ行く場合は、日本寺（有料）を西口管理所から北口管理所へ通り抜けて利用することが出来ます。

Located on the west of Mt. Nokogiriyama in Kanaya, Futtsu-city, the only ropeway in Chiba Prefecture connects the foot of the hill to the hilltop in four minutes. The observatory at the hilltop station yields a splendid view of Tokyo Bay and is a very popular spot for tourists. In a short walk the trail takes you to Nihon-ji temple west gate (admission charged). Through Nihon-ji temple, one can also reach Kanto Fureai trail and Shariki-michi trail.
