沖ノ島説明文

Okinoshima is an uninhabited island with a circumference of about 1km. It is connected with the Boso Peninsula by a sandy beach. The land represents a typical forest of the area, and one can observe local native plants. The shore is both sandy and rocky, and is the perfect place for beach combing, swimming and snorkeling. The water is so clear that you see some tropical fish swimming around among your feet, the rocks and corals. Tateyama is knowns to be the northern limit for where coral grows. It is hard to believe it’s just 2-hour away from Tokyo!
