Diamond Fuji

“Diamond Fuji” refers to the phenomenon where the sun aligns with the summit of Mount Fuji, creating a radiant spectacle similar to a sparkling diamond. In the Tateyama and Nanso regions facing Tokyo Bay, the setting sun gradually overlaps with Mount Fuji across the sea, creating an expansive orange-hued world.
In Tateyama, you can observe Diamond Fuji in May and July.
