館山で人気の観光スポット、みなとオアシス「”渚の駅” たてやま」。
大きな水槽に魚たちがいっぱいの「海辺の広場」、館山湾が一望でき、潮風を感じながらのんびりできる「展望デッキ」など、館山湾の豊かな自然を体験できるほか、海洋民俗をテーマとした渚の博物館やさかなクンギャラリー、客船ターミナル、レストランなどの魅力あふれる海辺の施設です。

Nagisa no Eki Tateyama is an ocean front tourist facility that welcomes visitors from Japan and around the world. It houses the Seaside Plaza which exhibits large tanks of local fish, an observation deck that provides a splendid view of Tateyama Bay, a museum that introduces the maritime folk culture of the area, as well as Sakana-kun Gallery, a cruise ship terminal, a restaurant, a farmer’s market and more.

2,144 nationally designated cultural assets, including fisherman’s celebratory jackets and fishing boats, are stored and exhibited here.

Sakana-kun is the honorable station master of Nagisa no Eki Station. The gallery and the shop exhibit and sell items related to his endeavors.

A space popular with young and old. You can see many sea creatures found in Tateyama Bay. Visitors can experience feeding the fish at 2:30pm.
